Tambourine's creative process

Entirely hand crafted tambourines, designed to inspire players across all styles, bringing a fresh and distinctive voice to the world of sound.

A natural skin, different layers of steam-bent selected beech wood and 36 jingles made of brass, bronze and german silver where each model is designed for a specific need.

The jingles are subjected to numerous processes such as the flame-colouring technique and the hammering process, with the goal of making the sound more authentic, colourful, controlled and powerful. On average, a single jingle is hammered around 200 times, then shaped and, lastly, ear tested.

' The making of each tambourine helps me gain new knowledge and new ideas. This is what I personally love most about hand making instruments.

Besides the final result in terms of sound, I truly believe that , a better look makes the instrument sound better and this is what in Italian can be explained by saying "l'occhio vuole la sua parte" '

Power and responsiveness are the common qualities that define every model where the rhythm is clear all along the dynamic range.
